Civil Engineer (LIC) - Coordinate, participate & dir. testing of bldg. materials in field & lab., evaluate the quality & suitability of materials such as soil, asphalt, concrete, steel & cement, take into acct. factors such as stresses & strains, estimated load, bearing capacity & temperature fluctuations. Inspect construction sites to work out sub grade & foundation conditions by conducting soil-samp-ling programs. Perform quality control & quality assurance inspection at the concrete batch plants to ensure compliance w/ project specifications & necessary requirements. Prepare reports of test results & make rec-ommendations for the solution of engineering problems identified in test reports. Review & maintain drawings & specifications.
